Cichowicz trumpet flow studies5/22/2023 He was a student of Renold Schilke and Arnold Jacobs. He was also a member of the legendary Chicago Symphony Brass Quintet and was a participant in the celebrated Grammy Award-winning Columbia recording of Gabrieli’s Antiphonal Brass Music, recently reissued on CD by Sony Classical CD. In 1952, he became a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where he remained for 23 years. After a brief period of service in the United States Fifth Army Band, he resumed his performance career in Chicago while attending Roosevelt University.
